Windsor House at St. Mary's Alzheimer's Center is located deep in the serene countryside, shaded by a majestic willow tree. The stained glass window in our chapel is a main attraction for our residents and visitors.

All residents who reside in Windsor House at St. Mary's have a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease or other dementia diagnoses. Because dementia takes many different forms, each resident is given an individualized plan of care to meet their specific needs.

Congratulations to St. Mary’s Alzheimer’s Center for being included in a list of Ohio’s top 35 nursing homes.

Family members are general satisfied with the level of care received in Ohio’s nursing homes say the results of the 2006 Nursing Home Family Satisfaction Survey released by the Ohio Department of Aging. The survey was conducted between July and December 2006 by The Scripps Gerontology Center of Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, on behalf of the Ohio Department of Aging.

Over 23,000 family members completed the family satisfaction surveys from Ohio’s 970 nursing homes. The Survey provided two key questions for families to consider: “Overall, do you like this facility?” and “Would you recommend this facility to a family member or friend?” In addition, family members were asked questions regarding activities, nursing care, environment, laundry, meals and therapy. Based on the responses to the survey, St. Mary’s Alzheimer’s Center is among the best nursing homes in Ohio.

The results of the survey’s can be found on the Ohio Department of Aging website, www.ltcohio.org.

Those residents who need little assistance with their personal care needs occupy our rest home, all within a comfortable and secure living environment. Residents and families have the assurance of knowing that staff assistance is available 24 hours a day to provide personal care services to those residents who need help with daily activities.
