An important statement regarding COVID-19 Coronavirus (updated 3/16/2020)

With Ohio seeing confirmed cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus, all Windsor House communities are taking extra precautions to protect our residents and staff as well as our families and visitors. Ensuring residents are cared for in a safe and healthy environment is our top priority.  We are staying up to date with CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and the Ohio Department of Health (ODH).  Based on the CDC and ODH recommendations, until further notice, our skilled nursing and assisted living communities have taken the following actions:

  • No Visitation except for end-of-life situations.  The visitor will be screened prior to being allowed to enter the facility.
  • Postponing all outings for residents with the exception of necessary medical treatment or necessary doctors’ appointments.
  • Postponing In-house events where guests/visitors are invited into the communities.

Windsor House will remain diligent in our protocol of disinfection and sanitization treatment at our communities as well as surveillance of staff and residents for flu and sickness symptoms.

Should you start to experience symptoms of the flu such as fever, cough, congestion and trouble breathing or shortness of breath remain at home and call your health care provider.  To protect yourself out in the community wash your hands often, cover your cough, and stay away from large gatherings of people and if you experience symptoms, stay at home and contact your health care provider.

For questions or concerns, please reach out to our Administrator at the community.
